Raspberry Lemon Frosé
(recipe shot and developed for Saving Dinner in 2018)
It’s the perfect spring and summer cocktail! Bright, tart, and the equivalent of a grown up slushie! SIGN. ME. UP.
If you’re hosting a party or grilling out, this drink is very fun to serve when you have company over - it’s easy to make on your end, and looks impressive to guests!
Raspberry Lemon Frosé
Serves 4
Ingredients
1 bottle rosé wine
1 medium lemon, juiced
1 cup frozen raspberries (we used golden raspberries we froze ourselves, but red raspberries work also)
⅓ cup vodka
*option to add simple syrup. This is a very tart drink, so if you like some sweetness, add simple syrup to taste.
Instructions
Do ahead: fill an ice cube tray with the rosé (there will still be most of the bottle leftover), and place in freezer.
Once rosé is frozen, place rosé ice cubes into a blender, along with the lemon juice, frozen raspberries, vodka, and a cup of the remaining rosé.
Blend until smooth, and then strain with a mesh strainer to remove the seeds from the raspberries.
Pour into a glass and enjoy! And if it melts too much, just throw the blended frosé back in the freezer until it’s firmed up a bit more!
